Memorial Day 2006 Photos
Found in ... Picture Pages
Well this year we started out the season buy camping at Evangola State Park. This is where I keep my boat. So the Goonies and I camped on the grounds and hung down with the Fleet during the day.
I was a pretty good weekend -minus a minor setback-, I got a lot of work down on the boat, and we all had a blast.
Not only was this my roommates first time camping, it was also my girl Jess's first time -which I think she did a pretty good job of, although it was only car camping-.
Check out this small set -one day was cut short- and feel free to coment.
2006 Buffalo St. Patty's Day Parade
Found in ... Leisure Time , Picture Pages , These are the People I know

How did I get this way? Well the album following the jump will illustrate the whole evening. Here is the final installment of the St. Patty's Day weekend in Buffalo. These were taken by me mainly at the parade in Allentown - which is where we go each year for this event -. The usual suspects were there -with the exception of Mordiki and Paul- but you will see Anth, Dave Jeremy and a few new faces.
2006 St. Patrick's Day Party Pics
Found in ... Leisure Time , Picture Pages , These are the People I know
This album is very overdue for publishing but what can I say, it does take time to process all of these, plus I can get a bit lazy. These were taken at Buke and my house at our St. Patrick's Day party this year. My old man and Mr. Doyle came which was really cool, a number of friends from work as well as the regular Goonies. Check them out and feel free to make fun of us in the comments.

Awesome Star Wars: Death Star Home Theatre
Found in ... Techno-Toys

This is an amazing 10 seat custom home theatre setup.
Me: This thing is frick'n sweet. I watch so much T.V, I figure an investment like this would be worth my wild one day. Perhaps not the Death Star -since it's been done- but maybe a Bat-Cave replica, something from the Indiana Jones Trilogy, or I could rock a Cloud City design as long as I could hang with Lando.

Spiderman 3 Plot Revealed
Found in ... Flick Picks & the Boob-Tube
We've all heard rumors and speculations of the plot for Spiderman 3, but we've never had anything confirmed... Until now.
Me: Read this summary. I think I was pretty on in my estimations of the direction of this sequel. I personally think it has potential of being a lot of fun -as long as they don't over do it-. But my friend Dr. Sidious my disagree.

NASA back to moon in 2008!
Found in ... Some Kind`a News
for the first time since Apollo, NASA will be sending its first vehicle/probe to the moon in 2008! sweet!
Me: I personally think this is great news. Now I'm not an armature astrologist by any means, but I am a big supporter of the space program. I think the exploration of space needs to harvest more attention. I have always said, if we were to learn that there was valuable resources on the moon, then companies would be quickly engineering ways to collect these resources. Thus, some type of plant would need to be established to process these resources, and of course they would need all sorts of workers on this plant.
I would rush to the opportunity to become one of those workers. I'm sure IT would be needed on the plant?

Google/Earthlink to provide free wifi to San Francisco
Found in ... Technoramblings
San Francisco has picked this partnership to blanket the city with affordable wireless Internet access, beating out five other bidders for a chance at the highly coveted contract. San Francisco will start negotiating a deal with the two companies, following a recommendation by a city panel evaluating the project.
Me: This is cool and all, but it really dosen't do anything for me. I'm on the East coast. San Fran certainly is the center of Internet activity and tech. I guess if I were a smart man -which is often questionable- I would relocate. But hey, I've already tryied Cali, it's just to damn bright for me. Even the sun is a different color. I'm more partial for the grey East coast. I like concrete and metal.

Oh Shit; Has it Been 10 Years Already? Time to Get a Career Quick!
Found in ... These are the People I know

On one hand, it would be nice to see everyone -well the ones I liked at least- and hear what they've been up to. See who took the path of young marriage and kids, and who floated towards career and independence. I wonder how many will be divorced? Perhaps that will be more of a twenty year thing.
Now we come to the opposite hand of this forecast. I can see myself falling into my old routine, and my collection of cronies and I will keep to ourselves, drink to much and pretty much do what we do every Saturday night -yes I still hang with my few high school cronies-. But then again who am I kidding, I'm a total social butterfly and would mingle until my knees got weak and still drink to much.
Well; what about you? Did you go to your reunion? Or if your a graduate from South in 96, are you going?
