Doing the Gym/Healthy Thing
Found in ... Brain Spill
For a few months now I have been a member of the Worlds Gym in Williamsville N.Y. I plan on dropping some of my flabby flab, and looking more like "Buff is the Stuff". That's a little OLD SCHOOL joke for ya brothers. But seriously I have lost about 10 pounds and still going. My body fat is down to @#% and even my baby tells me I dont feel as soft (pause.. you know what I mean.). Well I am down to 225, and my target weight is 200 lbs. So whish me luck.

A Quite Box that I will Never Own
Found in ... Techno-Toys
My good buddy Buke aka Bukzilla sent me a mail last night, linking to a new toy he would like to get his hands on. Now most times when Buke send me garbage that is absolutly rediculous, I just laugh and say "oh man that is cool". But this time, I have to habd it to Buke, this gadget or item is rather cool, I wouldn't mind having one myself.
The gadget is the Yamaha "MyRoom" - an indoor, soundproof private room for adults, featured on TechJapan. Now I know you sick little bastards out there are already thinking with the dirty section of your brain, I know this because that was my first thought. But this room would be a truly handy addition for those who didn't want to bother any one, or be bothered. As stated on TechJapan, it would be great for a mini office, t.v nook, music and much more.

So what do you think?

Vacation; here I come
Found in ... Brain Spill
Well in only a day and a half, I will officialy be on vacation. "Where are you going?" you ask (well you didn't ask, but I am going to tell you anyway). First I am traveling to Saratoga Springs with my honey, to visit my sister. Then my sister, her man, my lady and myself are goingi to head to Lake Placid to go on a white water rafting adventure. I am really excited about that, because it will be Beth's first time rafting. Of course I have only done it once before, so it's not like I am a pro or anything, but I will act like one (just kidding). Then of course since we will be staying at my little sis's place, there will be one good night of heavy drinking.
Once that leg of the "vaca" is over it's back to Buffalo, and since my good friend Anthony is now on unemployment, I think I will be spending the rest of the week loafing around his place with him. It's Holloween and all so there will be tons of great classic horror flick on the tube.
So far sounds like a hell of a vacation approaching.

Soothing Sanity
Found in ... Music That I like

This web site keeps me sane at work. I caught on to it while earning my masters at RIT. It really helps when you get frustrated or bothered. I so happen to get that way during the day from time to time, and even though I may not be a classical music buff, it sure does calm me down. Check out Beethoven Radio and its down to earth D.J's like Dan Maselli.

Finally a New Car of My Choice
Found in ... Brain Spill
Well since the day I got my drivers license, I have been driving a car that I had no part in picking out. I did have a very strong attachment to my first car, the sky blue Chevy Corsica or the "Blue Torpedo" as my friends and I knew it. But I hated the hand-me-down Buick Regal, it was a grayish brown, and I treated it like crap. By the time I was trough with that hunk of shit it was widely recognized for its different sized side mirrors. Then there was the Dodge Shadow, which I can't think of why the hell they named it that, the damn thing isn't even big enough to cast a shadow. That car truly had the devil in its engine. Before I retired that car, it was crashed multiple times; stolen, stalled leaving me in the middle of no where and it got me sued. Finally one day the seat back gave out and I fell on my ass, I was pretty ticked but my girlfriend got a kick out of it.
So since that day I have been driving my sister’s car, since she just got a new one. And let me tell you, here car isn't much better. I am always scared that it is going to just stop running, and since I drive a hour to get to work, it could go and leave me in the middle of Cattaraugus County. It putters and jerks, and the door has to be pried open since a deer hit me the day I started driving it. It is an embarrassment; all of my cars have been an embarrassment.

But now finally I am buying a new car. A car of my own, one that I picked out for myself, one that I can create an attachment with like the "Blue Torpedo" of my youth. And that car is a Chevy Tracker. I should be picking it up this week, and I am so excited. It is tan with only 8k miles, so it is almost brand new. It has 4 wheel drive, so it will be great for going up to the south towns to hit the ski slopes, and it is not too big, I really don't like those bulky SUVs. I am very excited, and I am looking forward to driving it on my vacation next week.

Been Cracked Out on This for a While
Found in ... Video Crack

Another thing I have been doing is playing a crap load of Star Wars Galaxies. If you dont know what SWG is, then to make it simple and quick, it is a massive multiplay online role playing game, or (MMORPG). It's pretty sweet, you get to create your own Star Wars character, and travel trough the univers doing missions and learning skills; crap like that. They are also getting ready to launch the first expansion pack for the game, Jump to Light Speed. This is anticipated to be one hell of an expansion, adding tons of actual real time fighter pilot action into the game. I had quit playing for a while, and even cancled my subscription, but after 3 months your data is deleted you see, and I paniced. A whole year of work down the tubes, and I couldn't do that to Iago Hasslehuff. So I am back on SWG, but only playing here and there. But I can't tell you how excited I am to try out the new expansion.

Ok I am Pretty Much Ready
Found in ... Brain Spill
Well it is about damn time; I tell ya it sure feels good to be able to publish on the web again. Now I will be honest, the site still has much work to be done on it, but I feel comfortable enough to start posting on a regular basis.
So if you are wondering what it is I have been doing for the last 5 months or so, I can tell you it has been mainly work. I am working at the Cliffstar Corporation in Dunkirk N.Y. It's not bad I get to do some great work with developing Intranets.
I also have been finishing up my first freelance web job. I designed and created an online store for the Buffalo Outfitters fly shop near my house. The URL is www.cattaraugusflyshop.com Check it out, I set them up with an MT weblog, so drop them a few comments.
I also have been spending time with my girl. Yes I have been dating the same woman for some time now, and I can tell you I love all of it, the ups and the downs. What can I say, she is one of a kind. She has survived the clan and me, so I feel real good about this one (of course now my friends will start slamming me about that, but hey I can take it). Matter of fact we will be taking a bit of a vacation next week, going to go to Saratoga (?) to visit the sis, should be a great time, we are even trying to go on a white water adventure while we are there. Or do you think it is going to be to cold?
Well that is pleantly for now, and yes sir it feels good to be back.
