This morning I was shocked to hear that X Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell aka Darrell Abbott was shot and killed by a crazed fan at last nights performance in Columbus Ohio. Better known for his slick hardcore riffs as the lead guitarist of the ever popular band Pantera, Dimebag was conciderd one of the worlds best heavy metal performers. Recently touring with his new band Danger Plan, Dimebag was gun down by 5 rounds to the chest. Also killed in the attack was one other member of the band -identity unknown at this time-. The shooter after killing Dimebag and other band member, turned and opened fire into the crowd. A total of 4 deaths accrued before police shot and killed the disgruntled fan. Today is truly a shock to the rock n' roll community, and the millions of fans who will always remember the bad ass from Pantera. RIP Dimebag; RIP.
