So I am a bit behind on the news, like I said before I have been a bit preoccupied as of lately. As of the 22nd many big time bloggers out there published the news of Jason Kottke leaving his permanent job and working on his blog full time. Kottke is huge among the blogging community. His personal blog space is one of the better known sites on the Internet, as well as some of his side projects, such as his work with Gawker Media. Jason is going to be making his money via reader donations which is much more possible than one thinks. It just takes a set of brass ones to actually quit your job and blog professionally. Personally it’s all I want out of life. Of course I think I have a long way to go before I begin packing up my desk. Good luck Jason, you truly are one of my computer dork hero’s. If I win big in Vegas I will drop a healthy donation.
