I.T Workers Get Bonuses?? via [Life Hacker]
What would I do with out Gina over at Life Hacker gathering great info for me to pawn off as my own? This article covers occupations which are more likely to receive bonuses. OK it basically just mentions I.T and Financials but it certainly places hope in the souls of techs like myself. Being semi green in the field -I graduated from grad school in 2004- I am in that period of my carrer when I have not yet learned how to negotiate, say no and avoid being taken advantage of. But hey, it looks like I will be getting bonuses -as long as I forward this to my boss-.

Porn Masters Have New Rules to Follow via [Life Hacker + Wired News]
So interesting the online adult industry is, if I could only drop my morals I would attempt to become the porn king of the Queen City. Well I wont so I guess I will have to conitue reading about it, like in this article from Wired news which discusses new restrictions and paper work envolved when displaying adult content on the web. Apparently Porn Masters will need to provide age verification documents for all of the models/actors appearing on the site, else remove that content or pay the penalty. At first I thought this was no big deal, I mean they should be keeping a tight grasp on the whole age thing anyway -remember Tracy Lords-, but I read on and learn that even on sites that steal images from elsewhere on the net must have this documentation. So it would be logical that within the rollout of this new enforcement, porn masters that are simply redistributing content will be shutting down and that the industry leaders will have the primary advantage since they can have the proper documentation.

Kodak Will 86 B&W Photo Paper via [Gizmodo]
I spent 3.5 years going to graduate school at RIT so Kodak is a company I am very familiar with. After reading this article -which did not surprise me- I just wonder what the hell Kodak is doing? While living in Rochester I saw multiple large layoffs come out of both Kodak and Xerox. Now with the termination of this manufacturing line, there will be more jobless folks in Ra Cha Cha. -Well at least they still have French's Mustard-

Programmer Makes Best/Worst Job List via [Worthwhile Magazine]
This is directly related to the above link due to its mention of my position as being one of the best jobs. I personally find it laughable, but as I stated before this is my first job and as Al Franken tells us you will hate your first job out of college. Check the list to see if your job makes the cut.

Kevin Smith Joins the Blog Craze via [My Boring Ass Life]
I am truly surprised that it took Kevin Smith this long to hop on the Blogger wagon since I feel that he is one of the brighter people of the entertainment industry. In any event you can never be to late and My Boring Ass Life has been Kevin's online journal for a few months now. The site is OK, there are some major flaws in the design which will make it difficult for readers to get into it. For one there are no titles on the posts, just dates. Which as a journal is fine, but I failed to read much since I couldn't get an idea of the post subject matter at a glance. Also he is only displaying 1 post per page which makes navigating a pain in the boring ass. The site is developed using Word Press which is a so-so product and commenting and trackbacks are enabled -which is good-. Kevin is also using Flickr which is probably the only blog standard he is following. Still it's Kevin Smith and he normally breaks the norm.

Real Life Bosom Buddies via [Bukezilla]
Yesterday Buke and I signed a lease on a house in Buffalo. This will be the seconded time Buke and I live together. The last time being when I was a punk rock party animal freshman in college. So now I can feel comfortable asking a girl back to the house and not worry about waking my parents.
